Centurion VECTOR 2 Slide Gate Motor Manual
By JD Gates Pretoria | Product Manual
The Centurion VECTOR 2 is a high-performance sliding gate motor engineered for heavy residential and light commercial applications. This page provides the Centurion VECTOR 2 installation and programming manual PDF, covering gate weight capacity, rack installation, limit setting, battery backup, remote programming, and SMART receiver integration.
Centurion VECTOR 2 Specifications
The VECTOR 2 supports gates up to 800kg and operates on a standard 1.5m/s drive rack. It includes dual safety beam inputs, a full-feature control board with adjustable auto-close timer, and a 12V 17Ah battery backup for extended power-outage operation. The motor is compatible with the Centurion SMART 2 receiver for smartphone-based gate control via the MyCentsys app.
Rack and Gate Preparation
Rack installation for the VECTOR 2 requires 4-module galvanised nylon rack. The rack must be installed at a consistent height to maintain uniform gear mesh across the full gate travel. Uneven rack height causes premature gear wear and erratic limit behaviour. The manual provides a detailed rack installation template.
Programming and Limit Setting
The VECTOR 2 uses electronic limit detection. Drive the gate to the fully open position, then navigate to the LIMITS menu on the control board and confirm OPEN. Drive to the fully closed position and confirm CLOSE. The motor stores these positions in non-volatile memory. Download the Centurion VECTOR 2 manual PDF using the link on this page.
