When Do You Need the D10 Instead of the D5?

Do I really need the Centurion D10, or will the D5 do?
If your gate weighs under 400kg, the D5 Smart is perfectly sufficient. Only step up to the D10 if your gate approaches or exceeds 500kg, is very large or heavily constructed, or if you're running an estate entrance with very high daily cycle counts. Our technicians weigh or accurately estimate your gate during the free site assessment and recommend the correctly specified motor.
Does the Centurion D10 work with my existing NOVA remotes?
Yes. The D10 uses the same Centurion NOVA remote system as the D5 Evo and D5 Smart. Your existing NOVA remotes can be reprogrammed to work with the D10, or you can add new remotes. The D10 is also compatible with the Centurion CONNECT app for smartphone control.
What is the rack specification for the Centurion D10?
The D10 uses the same Centurion M5 rack system as the D5 range, a standard 40mm galvanised C-channel rack. However, for very heavy gates (over 700kg) or long rack runs, we use a reinforced rack mounting bracket and may recommend dual rack support points. This is assessed at the site visit and included in the quote.
