Centurion VANTAGE Swing Gate Motor Manual
By JD Gates Pretoria | Product Manual
The Centurion VANTAGE is a hydraulic swing gate motor designed for single or dual-leaf residential swing gates. This page provides the Centurion VANTAGE installation and programming manual PDF, covering hydraulic fluid levels, limit adjustment, force settings, remote programming, and integration with the Centurion SMART home automation system.
Centurion VANTAGE Installation Overview
The VANTAGE motor mounts directly to the gate post using a pivot bracket. The hydraulic arm connects to the gate leaf. Mounting geometry is critical — incorrect bracket placement causes poor sealing at travel limits and excessive motor stress. The installation manual provides detailed bracket position calculations for gates from 1m to 4m in length.
Setting Limits on the Centurion VANTAGE
Limit adjustment on the VANTAGE uses a mechanical cam system within the motor housing. The OPEN and CLOSE limits are adjusted via the two screws accessible from the motor's top cover. Always adjust limits with the gate disconnected from power to avoid unexpected movement. Refer to Section 4 of the manual for the detailed limit-setting procedure.
Centurion VANTAGE Remote Programming
The VANTAGE control board accepts Centurion Nova Series remotes (433 MHz, code-hopping). To add a remote: press LEARN, then press the remote button within 5 seconds. The motor's LED confirms code storage. Up to 50 remote codes can be stored. Download the Centurion VANTAGE manual PDF using the link on this page.
