DTS Gate Motor Manual
By JD Gates Pretoria | Product Manual
The DTS gate motor is a robust sliding gate motor used widely in South African residential and light commercial installations. This page provides access to the DTS installation and programming manual PDF, covering wiring diagrams, DIP switch configuration, limit adjustment, and remote programming procedures.
DTS Motor Overview
DTS sliding gate motors are designed for gates up to 500kg. The motor uses a standard 12V sealed lead-acid backup battery for operation during power outages. The DTS control board accepts up to 30 remote codes and includes safety beam input terminals for Photon or compatible safety beams.
Programming DTS Remotes
To add a remote to a DTS motor: press and hold the LEARN button on the control board until the LED flashes, then press the button on the remote you wish to add within 5 seconds. The LED will flash twice to confirm successful code storage. To clear all remotes, hold the LEARN button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly.
Setting Travel Limits on the DTS Motor
Drive the gate to the fully open position using the wall button, then press and hold the OPEN LIMIT button until the LED confirms. Drive to the fully closed position and repeat for the CLOSE LIMIT. Incorrect limit settings are the most common cause of gate reversal or incomplete travel. Download the DTS gate motor manual PDF using the link on this page.
